Standard metal channel letters feature opaque stainless steel or aluminium sides (returns), meaning light can only exit through the front acrylic face. Acrylic Fabricated LED Channel Letters are constructed completely out of high-grade 3mm solid opal acrylic across both the face and the side returns. Using an advanced two- or three-face glue-sealing process, the entire 3D structure glows uniformly. This double-direction light emission provides a massive boost to viewing angles and lateral visibility, making it much easier for passing foot or vehicle traffic to read the sign from a distance.

Despite being crafted completely out of acrylic, these channel letters are engineered to withstand fully external, uncovered outdoor applications. The acrylic sheets used are highly UV-stabilized to combat yellowing and structural brittleness. Furthermore, the letters are put together using commercial-grade, weatherproof bonding agents and feature integrated drain holes at the bottom rear of the structural backing. This allows any internal condensation or moisture to escape immediately, fully protecting the internal electronic LED modules from water pooling.

The backing plate serves as the structural spine of the sign and is tailored to the final mounting environment. It can be enclosed with either a 3mm Acrylic plate or a solid Metal panel:

Acrylic Backing: Excellent for installations onto glass or glossy surfaces where back-shadows need to be minimized.
Metal Backing: Ideal for heavy-duty external brick, concrete, or structural steel installations, giving the mounting screws an exceptionally rigid anchor point.

The letters can be mounted either flat via a Flush Mount or raised using Stand-off pins to create a floating appearance.
