An Intracut Sign uses a solid, completely opaque metal face sheet (like aluminium or stainless steel). We laser-cut your logo outlines directly into that metal face, then take thick 20mm acrylic letters and slide them through the stencil from the inside out. When turned on, the background stays completely dark, and only the raised 3D letters light up. This creates incredible visual contrast and a premium, high-end look that flat signs cannot duplicate.

Standard push-through steps range from a subtle 5mm to a prominent 15mm projection beyond the metal surface. Choosing a deeper push (like 15mm) exposes more of the acrylic’s side walls, allowing light to bleed out sideways and create a beautiful “halo border” effect that surrounds each individual letter contour.

Yes, these signs are engineered to full commercial outdoor facade standards. The thick acrylic characters are manufactured with a specialized structural “shoulder flange” (a lip) on the inside of the sign. When pushed through the metal stencil openings, this flange is mechanically locked and sealed from the inside using high-strength, weatherproof structural adhesives and rubber gaskets. This ensures that the front face remains 100% water-tight, keeping the internal IP67-rated LED modules bone-dry during storms.
