Instead of using rigid acrylic sheets that are heavy, prone to cracking, and limited in size (requiring visible plastic joiners on large signs), a Flexface Light Box uses a durable, heavy-duty flexible PVC vinyl skin stretched tightly over an aluminium frame. This allows you to create massive, seamless, single-piece signs (even over 10 metres wide) with zero visible join lines and superior wind resistance.

The aluminium frame features a built-in mechanical tensioning system. Special hooks and tension screws grip the edges of the vinyl inside the frame’s perimeter. When tightened during installation, the banner pulls completely flat and drum-tight, keeping it secure even under extreme weather and wind conditions.

It is very straightforward and cost-effective. You never need to replace the aluminium box or LED electronics. When you update your branding, you simply order a replacement printed flexface vinyl skin. The old skin is unhooked and the new skin is tensioned into the existing frame on-site.

No. We use high-grade UV double-strike printing on translucent backlit PVC. Double-striking prints two layers of ink onto the material, ensuring the graphics remain deep, rich, and vibrant during the day, and do not wash out or lose saturation when backlit by the LEDs at night.
